Arriving in Melourne

I have now arrived in Melbourne in Altona and it is 35degrees today...The ferry journey was fun as I made friends with a hot German Chick and had lots of banter. When I docked I was picked up at the ferry by Mark Allen and dropped of at Maries. It is a very nice house, kind of reminds me of Grandad Craven's house, however in Oz. Planning on getting settled in soon with Johnny coming back too from Sydney for interviews. Some more work cloths shopping to do and beach work outs to do..

Over and out. John

Now can you spot Wilmot? He is wearing a very silly hat, but very cool, some times he is easy to find, others a little harder...

Second half of Tazzie

The 'Falls festival' was ace, over 16'000 ppl and great bands like the Kooks, Fran Ferdinand, Ozzy bands and all that stuff. Partied hard and helped Scott with his Sushi stall, setting up and taking down. Overall it did very well making lots of business. I have found myself doing lots of walks instead of lots of surfing, Tazzie is just soo wild and so many beautiful places to explore. Climbed Cradle Mountain 1500m high the other day allong with MT Black Bluff 1300m the day before while I was staying in the wildernes cabin with Nana. The wilderness cabins were cool, log fire at the foot of the mountain down a dirt track. There were platypuss viewings in the evening and you could get right up close to the Taz devils (crazy little creatures) at night from the saftey of your shack as they were fed on the porch. Been to the south point of Taz with Will (Craigs son) setting off from cockle creek.
Also there have been lots of events in and around Hobart during the summer with a folks festival that Nana really enjoyed, food and wine tasting festival (good food, especially the sea food piella). The weater is nice and hot... wow that sun is powerfull so hats and factor 30+ Grandparents will be pleased to know. Still loving staying at Rodneys and Christines with a regular swimming and jogging routine by the beach and even someone who is plannign taking me sailing because I gave him a little help with a boat.
On the serious side of things I have got two interviews planned for engineering once I reach Melbourne from my agency... I am very excited and over the moon... exciting times ahead. Not long now until I board the ferry back to the main land and will be staying with Marie for up to two weeks before me and the boys get accommodation / dive hehe. Got a few days left to make the most of. Pictures posted soon...
