Opening Melbourne F1
Dear ALL,
We had a fantastic four days recently where we saw the build up to and the Formula 1 opening race to the season in Melbournes Alberty Park. What an amazing four days, we saw the Ford V8's, mini challenge, time comparison and F1 warm ups and army airforce demonstrations with blue skys.
The F1 race was great from a pommy perspective with Button getting pole and Lewis somehow starting around 17th getting 3rd.
Mark, me, Johnny and chris had our tops off and drew the british flag, buttons and funny remarks on our skin to show our true British dedication.
Also saw the Who play live... they were superb. Some picture to help elabouraTE.....

the cave
So yeah, the big JC has been keep the updates, i have been in deep thought for the whole of the past 2 months and have now mange to bring myself to write again, unfortunatly it will not really have been worth the wait!
Times have been great, we have adventured our way through Victoria enjoying the fabulous company of the family, surfing numerous waves and seeing some truly stunning places. For the last couple of weeks i found myself in the west of the city living with some friends from the church there, they were class plenty of fun was had and there local knowledge on where to get excellent donuts from was greatly appreciated!
The beavers cave is our home now though and we love it, we have got furniture from various places and love the horrendous decor which is so old you may actually find similar wallpaper in the super fashiopnable area of laura ashley now! We havent got a fridge yet so are living out of an eski which is rather effective. Backyard cricket is the name of the main game we play before settling down to banter over a fine coopers pale ale!
My current job is to work in an italian restaurant which is rather good and mostly fun right on the banks oif the river in the middle of the city. I want to go for a swim now though so will love ya and leave ya. Byeeee

On a more serious note.....
Johnny - has found work in sales (Sustainable Energy) and going to the beautiful Phillp Island including being put up and food for the forcoming week, living near Melbourne center in a dive that might become our new humble obide.
John - engerneering is very quiet at the moment so looking at other temporay options that can still follow engineering, living at Maries possibly for two more weeks.
Christian - sent many feelers out, however heard nothing at present, however strong possibility of garden work in March (4 weeks away), living at uncle Daves Gaff at present.
Mark - stopped smelling roses (as show on a previous blogger update) and very happy that Nicola has come to join, sent out many feelers for work, living at uncle Daves Gaff at present.
Nicola - Staying with a good friend from an american camp over in Brighton and there is no rushto start work for the forseable future.
Health - 5 points (even after the heat way) Cheers God...lol
Surf Career - Getting better, Christian has found a new confidence with his new board, Mark likes his new board too as it is slightly bigger, Nicola can now stand up, Johnny is not to bothered at present (huge potential though to make it semi-pro), John, same as, however all breaks are back side here and therefore this aspect is getting developed nicely, especially at Bells beach last week.
General Comments - Your MUM...Your DAD...Your????? I like cheese!
