Yes Welcome to the blog again!
We are living it up in Auckland, its quite a city, and by the way its also really hot and lovely!
the flight was just torrid, I was not a fan but the stupid little games like Caveman made up for alot. BEWARE THE RED MAMMOTHS! it was ridiculously long and dark all the way until 2hrs out of NZ, a rather strange sensation. The torridness was continued by jet lag into the day of arrival on wednesday, Auckland was less appealing then but we march on doing cultural activities, we did the museum, art galleries and some other stuff that none of us really remebers. We forced through to 7:30 our only excitement being the bungy ride opposite however after this excitement ceased the first on the 'quick list' (mark) hit the bed, the rest of the list was completed over the next 45mins and after blank staring from the window of the hotel i was gone too, the end of the wretched but positive day.
The next morning was ideal, i was awake at 4 but forced back to sleep til 6 then i had to run, to call of the ocean was too much so that was good. That day all feeling pretty good we got on QuickCat 2 to Waiheke Island just off Auckland, it was so stunning, the weather was amazing so we hired out some bikes and beasted around the island, there were hotly contested races and as per JC pushed the boat of sanity away and decided superman on the saddle was the answer to all our problems, he was right! We went all round the crazily beautiful beaches and swam at one, it was freezing! The island was like a paradise, loads of vinyards too. We got the boat back at 8 and went straight to FOODTOWN to get munch for tea and back to hostel.
STAY COOL
