too long sorry!

Yep we are back. Apologies for lack of info, the availibility of internet has been scant at best!

Now in Rotorua, just come back through the geothermal park, rather funky, i am loving the volcanic action. We did a night drive down here last night from bay of islands, that was alot of fun and John really kept us on our toes, like a roller coast in the back of our camper :) This morning we hit the slopes with the luge, oh man yes! it was outrageous, so rapid with just a stupid little plastic sledge with 3 wheels. There was hotly contested races, everyone was a winner, crashes were also pretty common!

We picked up the camper in aukland, and headed straight out to Piha on the Tasman Sea, hoping for waves but we were bitterly dissapointed with the 2 foot, still the sea was lush, lions rock was conquered and Piha was so subtropical! Heading back out through on the same day we came across a bush track, we went for it, Jonny decided to stay and give the beds a test! Reports were good! The track was amazing and i got well over excited about plants, its my cross to bear.

Later that day we came to bethells beach for what turned out to be a very bizaare time! After much food and some beers we headed down to the beach and came across some local 17yr olds. The chat started and continued all night. it was really random, we were truly the main event and ended up being invited to a party. They asked if we wanted to join them in 'cracking the tunes from their Terrano man'

It was classic. yes yes oh yey
