Melbourne!

Melbourne is YES!

It is new years eve and there has been some great times. To put it quite shortly we have just been doing everything all the time. We have played just about every sport possible with our cousins who just loving every kind of energetic activity. Cricket, Tennis, Football, Aussie Rules, Surfing. Iv been taking Harvey the supremely energetic dog out running too.

I have a new surf board, a super fish if you will, its a 6.5 beauty, it surfs like a wonder. Its been tried and tested at torquay and 13th beach on several occassions. We were down at torquay yesterday and after some class waves in which Dave (our uncle) got stunning wave of the day we went to bells, just to watch today, i think we will surf it another day. It was mint though.

We also went to the MCG on boxing day to watch the start of australias second demise against south africa, that was an excellent day. We also saw the amazing melbourne victory soccer team, a great occassion in the A league of them playing sydney. They won 3-2, a real treat.

Christmas was brilliant too, so good to be with all the family and just so great having a hot day. We swam in the sea and played footy before having an amazing summery christmas dinner of turkey, Ham, Salad, Roasties. Sooooo good!

The games continue for now with gusto butsoon then seriousness of life must begin, already we are on the lookout for houses and jobs. We saw one in a chippy but i dont think that would really give us a fabulous cultural experience :)
